4. Because neither team plays anybody, for one.

Neither of those teams could run the table even in the PAC-10 or ACC, and would be 4 or 5 loss teams in the Big XII or SEC. If they played a tough out-of-conference schedule, that would be something different. But until that happens, they have NO argument.
