I Bet McNabb Was Poisioned
Not like the Ukranian guy, but something minor that would cause flu-like symptoms.

I bet Bush wanted Brady to win so he can cozy up with him at the White House again. The first thing Brady said after winning was how great it would be to go back to the White House.

.

Yeah, I'm serious. I got nuthin' to back this up. But I'm serious. I think the Bush administration tried to rig the Super Bowl.

Hell, if they can rig an election, don't you think they could do the same with a simple football game?

1. Sheesh
It is posts like this that make the NY Times print articles saying we're crazy as a loon and "out of the mainstream".

7. why, is it so unusual
to think that the Super Bowl could be rigged?

You have a team whose star quarterback is a huge supporter of a evil President. You have another team who's star quarterback is the most important player on his team.

Suddenly, the day of the biggest game of his life, he comes down with the flu. Only him. Nobody else on the team.

That doesn't sound suspicious?

Did it probably happen? No. But I wouldn't be shocked if it did. Too much has happened in the past five years to make me discount anything.

14. It wasn't the flu
It was his mom's Campbell's Chunky Soup

He was gagging to keep the chunks down in the huddle.

and ascribe the most venal, depraved motives for them you can imagine, attribute it all to the bush administration and you've still fallen far short of the truth.....

6. Well, if he'd had a stomach flu
I'd say it's possible because something like that is rumored to have happened to Kobe Bryant here in Sacramento a couple seasons ago. Any low level hotel kitchen flunkie can do someing like that just by breaking a few hygine rules and/or undercooking your food. Regular flu though? It's February, he was under stress and traveling. It happens.

I don't think the Bushies had anything to do with it though. That's a bit :tinfoilhat: even for me.

10. McNabb said he wasn't sick.
He said he wasn't sick, just a little worn down at the end. He makes no excuses and said that everyone should just let New England enjoy their victory. Enough of this nonsense. McNabb is a class act.

He just doesn't remember because they gave him an amnesia drug so he wouldn't remember being sick.

18. Finally, an Eagles fan who's NOT whining!
And you're right, McNabb is a class act, and I also thought Terrell Owens was as well when he talked about how the sports media demonized him.

12. i agree.
coincidence that the "PATRIOTS" have won nearly every superbowl during asshat's presidency?

i think not.

p.s.-stonemason's controlled the superbowl and cigarette smoking man conspired to keep the bills from winning...ever.

Sorry, Rat. I think the frustration of rooting for the doomed and hapless Jets has caused you to develop bubbles on the brain.

20. doomed?
I wouldn't say the Jets are doomed, hapless maybe, but not DOOOOOMED.

Doomed implies that we're bound to never win ever again, and I don't believe that to be the case.

I think we'll get to the AFC Championship game this year. And I'll make a prediction right now, we'll finish with a better regular season record than the Pats.

21. LOL
Your quarterback is fucked, you can't contain a good offense. The Pats return next year as basically the same team that just won two titles.

Oh, and it looks like you're in the running for Randy Moss, if the Vikes trade him. Enjoy that. Hopefully he will have a quarterback who can actually throw the ball.

22. Pennington had a torn shoulder
he'll heal up, be okay and actually have a good wide receiver to throw to.

Our new offensive coordinator will actually throw the ball down the field. Our defense will get better because we started basically four rookies this year and still kicked major ass.

The Pats lost their two coordinators, are due for a run of bad luck (when's the last time they had that) and most importantly, are NOT the New York Jets.

So that alone will mean they will suck balls and bow before ZOD come September.

;)
