I'd say it's possible because something like that is rumored to have happened to Kobe Bryant here in Sacramento a couple seasons ago. Doomed implies that we're bound to never win ever again, and I don't believe that to be the case.

22. Pennington had a torn shoulder

he'll heal up, be okay and actually have a good wide receiver to throw to.

Our new offensive coordinator will actually throw the ball down the field. Our defense will get better because we started basically four rookies this year and still kicked major ass.

The Pats lost their two coordinators, are due for a run of bad luck (when's the last time they had that) and most importantly, are NOT the New York Jets.

So that alone will mean they will suck balls and bow before ZOD come September.
