Is being a dumbass a requirement to host a sports radio show?
Seriously. I was listening to Colin Cowherd on ESPN (bored and had forgotten to switch to another radio station when he came on) and heard him ranting about how the Redskins are out of the playoffs because of....Jason Taylor.
Umm what? So the Skins were 9-7 last year and at worst are gonna be 8-8 which is OOOO a whole game difference.
Having a new coach with a brand new offensive system has nothing to do with it? series? Or not being able to score more points than 10 or 12? Its Jason Taylor "poisoning" the locker room? Uh when he was like injured 70% of the season.
How do schmucks like this get jobs? And why do people listen to them? I find him annoying and stupid to the extreme.

1. Jim Rome. So, it's Jason Taylor's fault My Team can't score touchdowns?
HE made the offensive line such.

Who knew?

Live and learn.

2. Well, If That's How It Works
I think i'll blame the guy who runs out and gets the tee on kickoffs if the Bears miss the playoffs. Since, per Colin, it doesn't matter if that person really has anything to do with it.

You're right about that guy. I honestly don't know how he keeps his job. Thankfully, he's not even on the ESPN affiliate in Chicago. There are local guys on instead.

4. Olbermann used to have a sports show
so if there is such a requirement, it must have been put in place fairly recently.

6. its not his fault
but it was a stupid trade. The Redskins keep trading draft choice for name players. Its why they have no depth on their football team.
