I needed 48 hours to choke down enough bile to be able to make this post without, well, choking on my own bile.

1. Weird season ---one of the weirdest I've seen in a long long time.

I never thought I'd see an 11-5 team miss the playoffs while a 8-8 team (Chargers) make the playoffs. I heard one knucklehead sports commentator yell that the system needs to be changed and that the NFL needs to change it over the off-season. Chuckle--- I thought---change it to what? It is what it is... you win your Division---you're in. You have a good enough record for the wildcard, you're in. I mean how would you keep a Division winner out of the playoffs--- you simply can't and I don't think it will ever happen.

Just tough luck on the Pats part.... Your team was every bit as good as last season and with Brady--- well who knows.

I'm just delighted that the Phins finally have a decent QB. I started to believe that Marino put a curse on us when he retired--- From Jay Fiedler to Jay Feeley--- it's been rough for us Phin fans.

Scary part about my team is it's in the first year of a rebuild. We still have a bit of work on the O-Line and Secondary... but I see a competitive team for the next several years. Parcell's finally eliminated the stench of Dave Wannstedt. Now let's hope Bill sticks around for a couple of years.

Anyhow---thanks for swallowing.

2. Change to a table... instead of using divisions.

Sure we'd miss the big head-to-head game at the end, but the system would be more fair.

Fairness isn't so popular here though, obviously.
