9. You laugh and you scoff, but there is indeed college hockey in the South

at Alabama-Huntsville, which plays in the CCHA (now apparently called "College Hockey America").

10. The CHA is a different creature than the CCHA

College Hockey has six divisions: WCHA, CCHA, ECAC, Hockey East, the CHA and Atlantic Hockey. If you're really interested I recommend USCHO.com
