Unbeaten North Dakota State Women Defeat Minnesota State 73-57 to Extend Win Streak to 23 Games

Amanda Krenz scored a game-high 17 points to lead a group of five players in double-figures as unbeaten North Dakota State University defeated Minnesota State University, Mankato 73-57 to extend its winning streak to 23 games in a women's college basketball game played Thursday, Feb. 17, before 1,053 fans at the Bison Sports Arena.

North Dakota State (23-0) scored the first 12 points of the game and never looked back to defeat Minnesota State (9-14) for the 38th straight time in the series, a streak that dates back to the 1985-86 season. The Bison remain one of three undefeated teams in NCAA and NAIA men's and women's basketball (University of Illinois men, 26-0, and St. John Fisher, N.Y. men, 23-0). NDSU is scheduled to host Upper Iowa University (7-17) at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19.
