And its vicinity. It's the capital of snobbery and everything that is wrong with this country. And I went there before I moved to Oklahoma---I'm not some dumb hick who's never left the farm. Most people here don't have mullets, smart guy. I saw more mullets in the central valley of California than I've ever seen in Oklahoma, and more spandex on girls in New Jersey too.
I grew up outside of NYC and lived in Los Angeles. So, take your snottiness and shove it.

Listen to me closely, or don't Upton/Cboy, I don't know which of you responded. I don't give a shit regardless: I got married in Las Vegas- in Circus Circus, the ONLY place that would take time to talk to my husband and I-after we spent nearly $1500 to visit to check out places, make appointments, etc. Why? Because of what we look like-one place left us waiting for an hour after our appointment. It didn't matter that I COULD HAVE afforded a wedding there-they took one look at me, and made me feel like a piece of shit. It was the Bellagio. Treasure Island was just as bad. Circus Circus got my money, made my wedding fantastic and didn't give a rat's ass that they basically had two kids getting married that looked like tattooed side-show freaks. They treated my friends and my family, who traveled from the East Coast, with respect and decorum.
The joke about spandex and mullet was AN EFFIN' JOKE! You know, like the one you made about Oklahoma being fundie-land, and the one you've made in the past about most Nascar fans being rednecks (oh, wait, was that you or your alter-ego?). I've read more jokes about Oklahoma Sooners fans, and Florida Gators fans made by you two...so seriously, STFU about the Bellagio joke. It's already really laughable that you'd be offended by that. But you're offended by everything, aren't you. And nobody else can be? You get to be judgmental about everybody else, but your reading comprehension skills and ability to understand a joke are poor.

I actually like Las Vegas, but not for high-stakes gambling. I left that behind when I moved out of Los Angeles and stopped having a real job. I stopped thinking gambling was cool when I realized that I busted my ass, so why should I dump my hard-earned money down the toilet. I think people who are regional elitist SNOBS, and you're certainly NOT the only one, are the worst part about DU. The WORST. People like you, who actually INSULT portions of the country and their people en masse are problematic. I have lived all over the US; there are parts I don't love, but there are great people everywhere. I insulted the Bellagio. Last I checked, it's a fuckin' building. If you can afford to go there, great for you...most of us probably could too, but I'd rather go visit my family and go surf than blow $1000 down some jack-off's pocket. That's just me. Go there, have fun with all walks of life that go there...and feel real good about yourself that you lined some already loaded dude's bank account.
