Who perservered, despite being weak at the FT line today. They beat the Jayhawks on their turf today. Those beaks were mighty quiet at the end of the OT buzzer.

And the best part is (for Cyclone fans) they should have never even been forced to OT. The piss-poor FT shooting in the last few minutes almost cost them the game.

I'm shocked and pleased that ISU has come back from the brink of disaster. From 0-5 in the Big 12 to 7-5 is pretty strong stuff. I'd hate to say it, but they "could" end up 11-5. Road games at A&M & Colorado, home games vs. Mizzou & Nebraska. I suspect they'll lose one of the two road games, but you never know!

Oh, and to the KU fans, you guys are great too. Part of the reason I love being a Big 12 fan, there may be heated rivalries, but there aren't hated rivalries. I always want to beat Kansas, but I always root for the conference otherwise.
