I woke up early to see the Daytona 500.

I know, I know, I'm a semi redneck idiot, and I should be banned from DU simply because I enjoy this idiotic sport.

There's just something about 43 cars going 190 mph that gets me all jacked up.

AN HOUR NOW of bad music, and stupid talking heads and oh...

WHERE THE HELL IS THE RACE?

IS THIS GOING TO BE ON UNTIL 10:00 PM TONIGHT?

I got shit to do!

I wish I had a zillion dollars so I could sponsor a race team.

8. That pre-race was a little much

Daytona is usually over the top so I rarely watch that part. I start watching when I hear "Gentlemen....start your engines.". :)

There's no way I could sit down and watch the whole thing, but it's pretty interesting to watch the beginning and end.
