Miguel Tejada Not Going To Jail
It was announced a few days ago that Miguel Tejada will only be sentenced to one year of probation. How do duers feel about that.? I think Tejada should have at least been sentenced to one year in jail. My reason for this is that I think if Tejada had been a regular person he would have been given at least one year in jail. I may be wrong in that the government prosecutor might have encouraged the judge to only give probation to a regular person who had not gotten into trouble on a previous occasion.

1. Meh. He admitted he lied.
And he didn't try to cover it up. I think a regular person would have been treated the same. Its usually the cover up that gets people in trouble in this area (see Barry Bonds, see Martha Stewart).

2. Tejada, like A-Fraud, is a big baby
Bonds has stood up and exercised his constitutional rights...what a terrible thing.

4. Oh yeah he's such a hero.
Of course the fact that no one wants to go to jail or that he doesn't want his record to be tarnished or that his ego DEMANDS that he be worshipped has nothing to do with it..Yeah, he's a regular american folk hero a silver spoon in the mouth millionaire HERO --! BWAHAHAHA!
You know, I honestly don't know how you can really believe the idiocy that you post...

3. As it should be. None of them should be going to jail, even Bonds, imo.
It's obviously too late now, but the government should never have gotten involved in the first place, and if Selig had any fucking brains and/or balls the government wouldn't have. That horse has already left the barn though.

And I think a regular person with no priors of any kind would get pretty much the same sentence.
