Yup, the home opener, cough drops will be passed out because the WORLD CHAMPS will be hosting the biggest CHOKERS in the history of baseball!

4. There was a small article in the NY Times about how the Yankees
"don't care" and that the distribution of the rings won't bother them.

Yeah, right!

11. This current crop of Yankees
Have 4 Rings and this current crop of Soxs have 1... granted you still got more...

Now History wise The Yankees have 26 Rings and the Soxs have Six.. and in fact.. as much as I hate the Yankees, I think they have more championships than anyone, with I think the Montreal Canadians coming a close second but I'm not sure on this fact, anyone care to back me up or show me I'm wrong. The show me I'm wrong option seems to be popular at times :)

12. I think you're right...however....I truly believe the Yanks are gonna be
stuck at 26 for quite some time. They have serious problems that talent and money can't gloss over--organizational problems, and ego problems.

13. Oh I agree with Ego
And don't get me wrong.. I don't want them to get to 27 either.. just stating.. that the Yankees have in all fairness amounted a huge share of champion ships, but I think the current Yankees team should be credit for having over 20.. (Heck I think late 40's early fifties they amounted five in a row) I just think it be more fair that these Yankees only have four World Series and these Red Soxs only have one. With that being said though.. The Soxs should be glad they have their one W.S victory. I think that leaves the Cubs and the White Soxs (Sheesh both Chicago) with the longest World Series drought... with we're getting nearer to 100 years for the cubs... sheesh.

They must have just not rescheduled the last two games becase it would have had no effect on the playoffs.

Without Pedro, you're going no where. In fact, you'll probably fade back into the ether. As for the Yanks? Think ticker tape parade down the canyon of heroes!!!
