1. If you count the cheaters, Seattle and Arizona won 2006 and 2009...
...interesting that the worst referring in the history of super bowls are the last two times the SteAlers won.

2. Whine all you want.
But the refs didn't let Willie Parker go 80 yards.

The refs didn't not cover Hines Ward on the flea flicker.

The refs didn't let the Steelers drive 90 yards on the Cardinals.

The refs didn't not tackle James Harrison.

So go call the WAAAMBULANCE.

4. Though. accordingly, the Steelers would have had two less victories
had they not cheated when they played the Cowboys in the 70's. Lynne Swann being getting away with offensive interference on nearly every play.

Yeap. Dallas would have seven super bowl victories had the squealers not been cheating.

5. Seattle was outright robbed in 2006
the Steelers have been the beneficiaries of cheating as much as any team in NFL history.

13. Dude. They had video tapes in the 70's too. Makes you wonder how
an average team like the squealers could have won those super bowls.

21. Bad luck?
The Steelers sure have had a lot of "good luck" thanks to the officials in big games over the years. ask John Madden about the "Immaculate Reception" ask Mike Holmgren about the 2006 Super Bowl.

Pittsburgh is not the deserving winner of anything except as the 2008 most polluted city in America...you earned that.

it was touched only by Fuqua...meaning under the rules of that day it was an illegal catch.

30. You outplayed the Seahawks?
Seattle had more total yards (396-336), more first downs (20-14), fewer turnovers (1-2), and a longer time of possession (33:02-26:58). You can't lose winning all those stats unless the officials are against you...behold:

Your buddies the officials reversed a Seahawk touchdown because of "offensive pass interference" (which analyst Michael Irvin says he would do "a hundred times a game"). In one of the strangest calls I've ever seen, Matt Hasselbeck was called for an illegal block, an impossible call to make since he was tackling, not blocking. Then there was the phantom holding call on a Seahawks pass play to down to the 1-yard line (a play in which replays showed the Steelers were actually offside). There were other things too, like Roethlisberger getting a TO despite replays showing the play clock reading zero.

Seattle was robbed of that Super Bowl and everyone outside of Pittsburgh knows it.
