Aramis Ramirez is the best Third baseman in the NL
David Wright is close as is Chipper Jones, but Ramirez is better at this stage of their careers. See, Ramirez annually drives in over 100 runs and hits 20-30 homers, but he can play defense as well.

David Wright is not only the best third baseman in the NL but probably all of baseball (not sure if Rodriguez swipes as well).

He's a two time gold glover.

Has gotten 100 RBIs the past four seasons. He had 124 last year.

He was a 30/30 guy in 07.

David Wright is the complete package. He's probably one of the best players in the game today.

2. Well it will be 4-6 weeks before we see him again whether he's
the best or not. On the bright side, we have Ryan Freel (and his imaginary friend Farney- not kidding) to play 3rd.

3. This Cub Fan Says You're Wrong
It's David Wright. I like A-Ram too, but he's not better than Wright. Terrific run producer, no doubt, but he's nowhere near the defensive 3rd baseman that Wright is.

I'll buy that he's now better than Chipper, though.

4. I like A-Ram to
But David Wright is just really good in all areas of the game. He's one of the few guys in this game that can do it all.

5. Ramirez is a dog
He could be Mike Schmidt if he would apply himself, but prefers to not run out grounders, and lets pop flies land on his head.
