WHY would any team want Vick?
His numbers at quarterback as an individual or as a player are not that good.
He would be a distraction in the locker room - and outside the stadium.
He's got a long record of being in trouble - he was doing this shit for years, as does his brother.

1. The WWE would want him.
The Undertaker vs. The Pit Bull Killer!

2. Because there's only about 5 true quality QB's in the League.
So even someone as thoroughly average as Vick is a step up for many teams.

8. Or as a quality back-up, if the price was right.
It's a buyer's market as far as Vick is concerned.

He could rot in hell as far as I'm concerned.

3. He would be quite effective in the Wild Cat offense
and there are always teams that are desperate for a QB.

4. I don't understand it, either. What he did was so horrific that I could not
hire him (if I were in such a position) unless he really, really made amends and spent most of the rest of his life working with organizations for animal welfare. Also, as you said, he's not so hot. And, as you said, that is one messed up family.

6. He would be a great QB in the 3-down, run-and-gun CFL.
But I don't see Canadians putting out a welcome mat for him.

7. cboy4 is really slipping. He hasn't made a comment yet about Jerry Jones
trying to sign a felon.

10. I heard someone comment that he'd be good as a returner in special teams
I have no doubt that he has not repented for his crimes, but I'm sure some team will pick him up.

11. Because he is a slightly better
than mediocre talent who will be available at a very attractive price...and the NFL is a business... :puke:

12. Because Too Many Commentators Credit Him. . .
. . .for winning that game in Green Bay against Favre in the playoffs, not realizing it was the ATL defense that won that game by terrorizing Favre. So, i hear sports talkers saying that he went to 4 ProBowls (over more deserving QB's EVERY TIME), and that he won a playoff game in Green Bay. That makes people think he is better than his average stats would suggest.

And, they also seem to forget that the one big advantage he had, speed and elusiveness, is lost with age more quickly than arm strength and release speed. So, the more he slows down, the worse a QB he becomes.
