This is absolutely pathetic. 2 runs in 37 innings and counting?! Call up some Minor Leaguers or trade the whole team or something! Damn this team is sucking right now. And who is Milton Bradley and why is he taking up roster space?

1. Finally!
Derek Lee hit a home run. But will it be enough?

2. Try being a Giants fan
going into tonight the Giants haven't scored more than 2 runs for 5 consecutive games and are dead last in MLB in runs scored. Oh, the Cubs are 21st..

5. How can the Cubs spend so much money and come up
with this team?

I'm really starting to buy into the theory that they are indeed cursed.

At least the Giants aren't expected to win.

I would be on top of the Sears Tower if the Cubs were my team.

Decade after decade. Something is seriously wrong.

6. Things in this game turn on a dime
It's still too early yet and a lot of teams can turn it around. For some it could be a trade and others players start hitting a groove at the right time.

Just recall what Sabathia did for Milwaukee last year.

I usually give it till about mid July. Then you have a pretty good idea where most teams are gonna land. At least you can approximate it.

8. I would agree with you if it were any other team except the
Cubs -- who are cursed.

Actually, throw in the Giants -- who are in denial.

At least the Cubs will prolly make some moves and try to improve, like they did last year going after Harden, etc.

My idiotic team is in such denial that it can compete with a horrific offense due to the fact the division is even :eyes: -- at least that was the propaganda letter I received with my season ticket packet.

Uh yea Giants, if you're going to field a bunch of loser .220 hitters, at least get some loser .220 hitters who can knock a 3-run homer every now and then.

What's sad is all of my awesome starters are going to leave because they can scrape the bottom of the barrel and go play for the shitty Natinals, get some run support, more wins which will mean much more money they can demand from that team or the free agent market.

:argh:

I hate sports.
