Has anyone ever said this before? If not, how do I go about copyrighting it?

1. Well, if you must. Here's the cheap version.

1)Save a screen shot of this page. Your computer will date it. Save it to a disk. Keep it. Never open or alter the file as the dating is necessary for legal purposes.

2) Print it out. Put it in an envelope. Write the date across the seal of the envelope, then cello tape over that to later insure that it wasn't opened. Mail it to yourself. For extra security send it so that you will have to sign for it when you get it.

Never open the envelope unless it is necessary to prove that you came up with the phrase before anyone else. Only open it in front your lawyer or someone who can testify to the state of the envelope etc. in court.

The expensive version involves applying for a copyright which can get pricey.

The 2nd item can be used for images too. Just photograph the image (drawing, painting, doodle) and send to yourself.
