"reduntant, or needless"
As in: I will "Reduce, merge or eliminate redundant or needless county level boards, commissions, authorities and the like."

least. concise. sentence. ever.

1. Well, it is a crappy sentence
...but they don't really mean quite the same thing. Redundant means needlessly repetitive (in UK it means you are FIRED!), and needless means hell, we don't need the damn thing! So, what I think they want to say is that they will reduce or merge boards that duplicate the work of one another, and get rid of ones that aren't doing squat!

It reads like one of those HYPNO-sentences...the kind that put you to sleep!
