Is there a good FAQ for new writers?

1. Umm, I really don't know

of any FAQ's but a good site would be www.writing.com. they allow people to put their stories on there and they have tips as well. Another good offline source would be a book called The Writer's Market.
It has a list of publishers by genre that you could send your work to.
