Where children played in the street.


I wish I lived when I used to.

When we weren't at war.

When I din't see pictures
of the dead

Children.


I wish I lived where I used to.

Where one parent worked.

And The other stayed home.

Where they don't invade other countries.

Unless they were killing,

attacking us.
(there was no one country,
no uniform,

that hit us that Sepember,


It was religion).


I wish I lived when I used to.

When a Government answered

to its populace.


I wish I lived where I used to.

Where the prisons are much smaller.


I wish I lived where I used to.

Where a doctor would come to your house.

Where a Hospital
would care.


I wish I lived where I used to.

When there was a President in office.








That wasn't owned
by corporations.

Subtlety is hard when writing something like this. I'm not sure if you need any. You write like a carpenter driving home a nail. Or a lumberjack chopping wood. Everything is fine when you're on. But, when you're off something bad is going to happen.

I have yet to see you off yet, though. :)
