My baby's bleeding out.


I know the end of this.

We were sitting in our center room,

With my mother, sons and brothers.

They shot right through the gate, the walls,

The flesh.

Searching for his uncle.

Who still fights the fight.



They expect me

to let them know

where my brother is.


I tell them I don't know.

Can they get my child some help?


They carry him away.

I know for a last time.

I have seen my child

I have seen my brother.

This world's all messed up.


It's the end

as far as I know.

It's the end.


My baby's gone,

I've told upon my brother.

And they want me to be free.

Reading this, I envision what innocent Iraqi citzens are put through by American soldiers on a routine basis. It sickens me.
