Does anyone have an opinion on Strange Horizons?

I've read a good number of stories in their fiction archive, and I've been considering submitting a work for publication.

Has anyone dealt with this organization, or does anyone have an opinion on it? I'd value any feedback or insights you'd care to provide.

I've never submitted to them. I'd love to know how you make out if you do submit.

On Edit - I just submitted a piece to them via their RTF upload feature. I will let you know if I am successful.

3. I love them

I have been a fan of the stuff they post since I discovered it about a year ago. I have submitted two or three times. The first time, I messed up the format and they emailed me and worked with me to get it right. Everytime they have responded within their stated time, and, in addition to going out of their way to help me fix the formatting, they provided some very nice and helpful feedback. I have never encoutnered anyone who questions their profesionalism.

I really like the site and have enjoyed pretty much all of what I've read. They've been very prompt and thorough in their responses to my queries.

I've done some more checking here and there online, and I can't seem to find any negative vibe about them.

If anything of mine happens to show up there, I'll post a heads-up!
