aren't quite as important as cover art. Not to say that titles don't matter, but, she said, in a bookstore, when someone is browsing, looking for a book with nothing particular in mind, the book's art has three seconds to catch the browser's attention.

I'd guess that titles will only attract attention when the shopper is looking at a bunch of spines on a shelf. If the front cover is visible, the title has less impact than the picture. Unless the title is more than 1,000 words...
