It's now officially Month Two of my New Year's resolution regarding my novel.

I only made one resolution this year, and that was to write at least one page a day in my novel, every single day this year. It's Day 36, and I'm on page 55 now, having just finished Chapter 4 yesterday. I'm well ahead of my goal, and I'm pleased with how everything is coming along.

My novel started as a series of short stories three years ago, and I've basically taken the framework of those short stories and blown it up into a novel. At this point in my short stories, I had only written six pages. I've done pretty well with my goal, as I haven't missed a single day yet. Some days I write more than on other days, but I've written at least one page a day every day this year.

So, yeah. I know there are lots of writers here, lots of very talented writers, but I just wanted to share my own progress. I have no idea if my novel is any good, or if I'm even remotely talented, but from looking over it myself, it's not half bad.

That's all I've got. Just wanted to throw my hat into the ring too! :hi:
