Anyone heard of Vook.com?

I just saw the "tech bytes" segment on the super early morning news.

Check it out: www.vook.com

They are merging books and video.

I haven't read enough yet to fully understand what they offer. I see they're working with traditional publishers but don't know if they go beyond that.

I really know nothing at this point and can't dive into their site until later, but this is something to be aware of, IMO.

Or, are there similar sites out there that have eluded me?

I'll come back later to expand upon this after I have more of a clue. ;)

Wanted to throw it out there first thing in case others are aware of it -- the pros and cons -- and whether or not there are similar companies out there, separate from the marketing/PR departments within the publishing houses.
