Demonization articles are always short and if you look at the length of this article you know right away that its principle purpose is to inform. It covers a lot of ground and includes testimony of what cannabis has done for people from their own mouth.
The one thing it should include is the FDA definition of medicine that says that anything better than a placebo is medicine. It also does not do much to attack the Schedule 1 classification of marijuana. The proper classification of cannabis would allow states to set up workable MMJ programs and conduct research without federal obstruction.
The Schedule 1 classification of cannabis is a huge lie. Of course you will not see it debated by medical researchers on television anytime soon. Real discourse will prove it to be the lie that many of us know it is and show just how uncaring the government is in protecting its police state and the financial interest of the pill companies. This article says the government spends $69 billion a year on prohibition and the drug war.
