Hi all, I'm doing some research on Diebold lobbyists and I ran across this list of registered lobbyists in Tennessee for 2003. I couldn't help but notice that AARP and just about every drug and medical corporation seemed to be represented BIG TIME! But none moreso than AARP! Check it out and ask yourself why.

The list is at the following link in PDF format.

http://www.state.tn.us/tref/forms/list_lob2003.pdf

Here's a Google cache in HTML for the Acrobat impared. Dialup warning! 41 page document in very small type.

1. Why? Check when Bush and congress were pushing his Medicare plan.
And then look when the Medicare vote came up in Congress and then the Senate.

2. I knew that
Check out the same list for 2004! Notice what's missing?

The real question is, who put up all that money?

3. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember
that AARP has its drug plan operation in TN.It was a while ago, before I quit, the drug plan was a mess, too.
