they must think all drug dealers are as dumb as the couple who reported the theft of all their marijuana plants to their local cops.

3. Maybe TN is using the NC model where one source indicated 79 of

the 72,000 had come forward voluntarily which suggests the remaining some 69,921 had been caught. My recollection from an article in The Tennessean (sorry, no link) is the stamp(s) for 20 Oxyc*** cost(s) $200. Drug dealers will just have to trust the State that their having bought the stamp(s) will be and will remain totally confidential, that their names, et al will not have been shared with law enforcement officials should they later get busted: the good news is the dealers who had paid for the stamps and get busted will not get an extra fine for not having bought the stamp(s) as will the dealers who had not bought the stamps. Now ain't this some kind of a wonderful and perfect world we live in?

This has been in effect in a lot of states for quite awhile. That's the law that allows seizure of property following a drug conviction. No bullshit, it's classified as "tax evasion".

I thought it was a joke until I looked it up.
