8 partygoers arrested as police react to Phelps photo |
|
On MSNBC just now: the owner of the bong tried to sell it on ebay and local South Carolina law enforcement decided to take action by arresting everyone they could find who was at the party.
Thank goodness law enforcement is continuing its tradition of keeping us safe from the dire health threat of munchie induced obesity and type 2 diabetes....

1. I STILL don't get it.. how can marijuana use be determined from a photograph? |
|
That should be a rhetorical question.. but apparently not.

3. They can bust the owner of the bong for trying to sell it on E-bay. |
|
And if there's an residue they can bust him for that. Other than that it will take more than 2 witnesses to bust anyone else.

What's the evidence? How long ago was the party? How did the cops know who was there? What an unbelieveable waste of taxpayer money.

yes again. And then the cops saw the picture.
The picture, along with two credible witness is all that is needed. I do not know what the statute of limitations is in that state but I'm sure they are well within it.
Look. Pot is NOT legal. All the arguments that are relevant in arguing for the legalization of it are moot in defending it's use. The best way (IMO) to start the road in legalizing it is to get some sort of rational control on the out of control perversion of the Interstate Commerce Clause. THAT alone will do a lot to recover lost freedoms across these United States.
