Bodies found in car are identified as missing NKC teens

The bodies of two missing North Kansas City teenagers were found Friday in their car in a Kansas City parking lot.

Police said each had been shot.

A maintenance worker for the Jazz District Apartments near 18th Street and the Paseo saw the bodies about 2 p.m. Friday when he was cleaning the lot. Police said the two might have been dead for a few days.

Relatives who arrived at the scene Friday identified them as Erin R. Williamson, 19, and her boyfriend, Aaron L. Benton, 17. They had dated for a year or two and were living together, according to Benton’s father, Lee Benton.

you have been a part of. My sister used to call me when her former students would get into trouble. It is heartbreaking but one often never hears about the successes. They are not headlines in the paper.
