That sucks. I watched the one part of the show, and it sucked. Waste of my time.

5. There was a lot of follow up to that story I never posted

It dragged on for a couple months. We wrote LTTEs (none were published) and we contacted lots of local reporters. The local CBS affiliate never replied. We did get some replies from the local TV writer for the paper. He was actually pretty nice and said he admired what we did, he was progressive and against the war but didn't understand why we had contacted him. LOL that was the shortest email I have ever written: Because you are a reporter??

And we even got a sit down with a local newspaper reporter. He never wrote an article though. But a reporter from a national magazine interviewed all of us and did write a column. Damn I can't remember which magazine and his piece got zero play here.

We also filed a complaint with the police and the parks board and we did get them to agree that since the park was a PUBLIC park we did have the right to protest there but CBS had rented it so they had the right to not put us on camera.

It was a very frustrating experience. But yes, I would do it again in a heartbeat. :)

6. Today (Monday) I caught Bill Gates on some am show talking about his plans

to "help teachers" - then this pm he was on jon stewart with the same line of crap.

the spin machine is on high.

kinda disappointed me that stewart gave him a completely obsequious blow job.
