One of my formers called me today to invite me to his graduation
Loved this kid! Sent him off to middle school 7 years ago. So glad to hear he is graduating and has a job lined up.

He called around until he found me in the building where I was working this afternoon. Got to admire that dedication.

Can't wait to see him and congratulate him.

3. If he's going to that much trouble, you must have made quite a difference in his life
And that's quite a compliment--congratulations!

7. You obviously were a wonderful teacher...
...when I graduated, I didn't even think to call any of my former
grade-school teachers. What an incredible compliment to you--that
he wanted you at his graduation.

That's amazing!

8. Right on.
It must be especially rewarding given your area of specialization.

We don't have to wait to congratulate you.
