Do you support FERPA? Could the law be reformed in some way?
I am not the biggest fan of FERPA. Now, should a university or K-12 school be able to blab about a student's grades to the media or other public forum? NO. But I do think that the law has gone rather overboard in many ways.

2. Here's one
Needing to get a signature on a legalistic form from the teacher or professor from whom you request a letter of recommendation.

That's just one way. I don't have time to list all the other objections I have.

3. Sorry. I don't see that as a problem.
I had to do that in the 70s. Long before FERPA.
