Preliminary AYP report for my district:
All elementary and K-8 schools made AYP.

None of the secondary schools, middle or high, made AYP.

<snip>
Specific groups of students across all grade levels must progress in their achievement each year in order for the district to make AYP. Based on preliminary scores, two of those groups at the secondary level did not make enough progress; Limited English Proficient and Students with Disabilities.

Anyone surprised?

5. How logical.
I got an email from my new principal yesterday; the word is that we'll be allowed back to move our packed rooms into the new wing and start unpacking and setting up on August 25th. We get one paid day to do so. Then the rounds of meetings begin.
