Can you make 400 million in budget cuts to Las Vegas schools?

I can't do it. The biggest possible cut is eliminating prep periods, and I already have far too many kids in my classroom, and already work far more than the required hours. If they give me another period with 35 kids in it, I'll simply be unable to teach. My kid goes to one of those magnet schools, and can you imagine the truancy rate in the Mojave in August if they increase the busing radius to three miles? The schools are already mostly dirty, the groundskeepers have been cut back so much that they can barely keep up, and everything -- EVERYTHING -- else is already underfunded.

Please take the time to at least fill out the very last question: would you be willing to raise taxes to support our schools?
