Went to see it with a group of teacher friends yesterday. We laughed until we cried.
Only bad thing about the movie was halfway into it, an 'adult' (I use that term loosely here) came in with NINE children, all under 13, including a 3 year old, and the kids made the mistake of sitting behind a group of teachers and throwing popcorn and making way too much noise. We got the popcorn throwing stopped when we told them we had a big tub of popcorn too. And we got most of them to shut up, except the 3 year old. One of the teachers went out to the lobby to complain and the manager said she'd come in and ask the 'adult' to take out the 3 year old but she never came in. So we got our money back.
Considering it was free, I liked the movie even more. :) But I'll have to catch it again when it's on HBO to get the parts I missed while dodging popcorn.
One of my friends sent me this last night. It makes some great points but the movie was a COMEDY, and I just didn't see an attempt to make any larger statement about teachers.
