Now that I am free to finally blog in my traditional way, I must bring up, in fact I was requested to bring up, my pal Whitney Tilson's latest falsehoods from his email this past Staturday, and which also is appearing on his convoluted, mind numbing, self absorbed blog.

I read it whilst sitting around the ER on Saturday looking forward to commenting on it later that evening. Due to circumstances I have yet to be able to comment on it till tonight. I think I am going to have fun.

Whitney writes that he received yet another email proclaiming love, allegiance, and several offers that are not mentionable here on a family blog. It seems that yet another TFA graduate wrote his wonderfulness about the shortcomings of NYC teachers. Whitney, as is is wont, not only posted the email, but commented without even to attempt the veracity of the email.

Not some kind of personal feud, but rather exposing what hedge fund whore Whitney Tilson is doing to American public education. He is out to destroy rtechers and teachers unions. I suggest you spend some time and learn about him.

3. I agree with MM about this. You need to give us all a few sentences of context if you want people

to understand what your point is.

Please explain who the guy is, what he's done regarding public schools, and why you have a problem with it. 1,2,3 - easy as pie. We'll all appreciate hearing from you in greater detail.

10. It shows up on the Latest Posts page. That's where I clicked on

it. I often don't look to see what forum something is in before reading it. The Education forum's posts all appear on the Latest page. It's the most popular page on DU for people to use for browsing the site. It seems to me that if a person wants to spread the word, a little explanation is useful, just in case someone who is not up on the latest stuff in the Education Forum happens to click on a post. :shrug:

If you're trying to communicate, communication requires some work on the person's part who is doing the communicating.
