The education that Wall Street is missing.
In his essay, A Liberal Education, T. H. Huxley writes:

Education is the instruction of the intellect in the laws of Nature, under which name I include not merely things and their forces, but men and their ways; and the fashioning of the affections and of the will into an earnest and loving desire to move in harmony with those laws.

Wall Street certainly has a good understanding of the ways of man, but they are foolish in how they've applied that knowledge. Instead of showing the "earnest and loving desire to move in harmony with" the ways of people, they have acted to severely harm most people on earth. OWS is proof that Wall Street has done great harm. The next question is, will they respond kindly to this gentle demonstration or will a more just and harsh "education" be required?

A few years ago, business people talked of "win-win" situations. Wall Street no longer believes in this path. Let's hope that they receive the gentle education in the wisdom of returning to "win-win."

1. Exactly what/who are you talking about when you say "wall street"?
Who is Included and who is excluded?
