9. Almost there

I left for awhile during the primaries - but I can't stand to be in a constant state of pissed-off and I'm letting all the ignorant jackasses get to me. As someone who hasn't been able to hide who I am (yup, I'm the stereotypical butch) I'm used to dealing with crap - have been since I was young... I shouldn't let it bother me. But when it comes from supposed allies (democrats) it's like a kick in the teeth. And I get pissed. Even when I know better.

It's like walking down the street in Noe Valley and getting something thrown at you from a moving car for holding hands with your girlfriend. Of course the one time that happened to me, I chased the fuckers down and was ready to pummel them, but they ran stop signs to get away from the scary dykes. Chickenshits.

I'm surprised I haven't been tos'ed.

I am so sick and tired of being told we're offending people because we're angry. Oh dear, I guess I should beg and shuffle, hat out and bow down to my betters so they recognize that I'm a human being.
