8. It was 85 degrees today.

I should have worn shorts.

At our peak, I think we had between 100 and 120 people. The OC Sheriff's department was there for our protection. One of the church members came out and was a bit threatening, and the deputies were right on top of the situation. I felt really safe.

Rick Warren's PR team -- with the help of the MSM -- is positioning him as a victim. According to a huge piece in today's Boston Globe, Warren is trying to transcend the "culture wars," but we keep focusing on what he says and does, instead of just slurping down the propaganda from "America's Pastor." He's done so many wonderful things -- and he wears Hawaiian shirts, for crying out loud, but we keep focusing on things like Prop H8 and his Nazi references. So unfair.
