Local theater FINALLY screening "Milk"....... Yay!!!

Our local non-corporate 2-screen theater downtown just got MILK this week...

We're getting the word out through e-mail and Facebook, so that the owners know that we support them taking risks that the multiplexes simply won't take in this market, especially considering this film is up for a possible 7 Oscars.

I saw "Milk" a couple of weeks ago, and it is a fantastic movie! And although I'm sure it will be great to see on DVD, I think being able to see it on the big screen will make that movie so much better. I'm glad to hear you're getting the opportunity to do so!

5. Great News!

I was shocked that theatres in Evansville, IN were showing the movie. So far as I can tell, no hell-raising by the fundies. Gonna see it when DH and I make Phoenix (he's going to automotive technician school there). Great to hear ti's up for a bunch of Oscars, too!
