Happy Valentine's Day to my friends here

After the Lounge, this was the second place I came to deliver some hearts.

I can only say that since November, you have changed my way of thinking, been kind to me--even when I've made stupid comments or mistakes--and you have allowed me to do my best to make ammends to this precious community and do what needs to be done to right the many wrongs that have historically been, and continue to be, done to this important group of human beings.

You have also helped me work through personal losses of GLBT people in my own life, that I never faced up to.

For that I can never repay you.

You are all in my heart.

Thank you for allowing me to participate in this community. You have no idea how it has impacted me or changed me for the better. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

If I had to list one reason I am happy I came back to DU, it would be because of the interaction I've been able to have with you, and this GLBT community. I can't even articulate how much it has meant to me.

completely took me by surprise tonight. While we were talking about serious minded politics on another forum she bought me a Valentine heart. I don't even know the poster which surprised me even more and was very nice of her. Maybe she thought I should forget about politics for a day and enjoy the moment. *grin*

I agree, here and the lounge are definitely two of the reasonably sane, welcoming forums. It's best to stay grounded here before and after venturing into the more toxic forums.
