3. How did prop 8 pass here?

This has always surprised me. Does anyone have specific statistics for the county? I presume the no side dominated the coastal region. Where did most of the yes votes come from?

4. We lost it in L.A County. Go check out the statement by Work the Vote
(link in OP) and see what they've found so far.

We already know that older voters and the Catholic vote had an impact. But, imo, something happened in L.A. County. They had "problems" there during the primary, too, that took weeks to sort out.

But I presume in L.A. city, specifically Hollywood, and the coastal areas (like Santa Monica), people voted overwhelmingly against prop 8? Is there any way to get specific data for the county?

I'm sure there was some type of voter fraud. Since LA County is the largest in the US, that just heightens the probability of that.

Do you live in LA County? I stayed in Woodland Hills last summer for an intership.. I loved it there :-) (Can't wait to move back!)

5. Here is a good link on every county.... Prop 8 passed in LA county by about 13,000 votes.
