Pride Parades

I think (if not this year, then next year) DU members should get together and march in pride parades. This would certainly spread the word about us in massive numbers. What do you think?

and perhaps carrying signs that say DU supports gay people?

I think it's a really good idea. It promotes DU and supports gays - all good.

2. I am going with my daughter

and her friends to the NYC parade. First time. Gotta take a stand aginst all this hatred being spewed about by these "christian family" groups.

5. Do the parades usually have supporters that march?

I've never been to one, sorry if it's a dumb question. But I know there is one in my area.

Allies are ALWAYS welcomed!!! You don't even have to march, hang out, see the sights, watch the haters, get drunk (if you do that sort of thing), just have fun! They even have fun t-shirts for cool straight people (just an assumption on my part).
