http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/06/061405nyCourt.htmThree New York State lawmakers and a trio of conservative political action groups are seeking intervenor status to argue against same-sex marriage in a case before a state appeals court.
State Senators Ruben Diaz, Sr (D) and Raymond Meier (R), state Assemblyman Daniel Hooker (R) along with the New York Family Policy Council, the American Center for Law, and the City Action Coalition, a conservative group of pastors, all want to be granted the right to present arguments for maintaining a ban on same-sex marriage.
They all are represented by Liberty Counsel a Florida-based conservative Christian law firm involved in battling LGBT civil rights in other areas of the country.
Good old Senator Diaz--why is this man a Democrat when he's such a homophobe or won't anyone in the NY state party call him on it
