Tutoring most of the weekend.

Working on a transcription of Grainger's "Lincolnshire Posy" for the two woodwind quintets I'm in.

Nursing an upset stomach that made me miss a rehearsal last night, but no aches or fever, so probably not swine flu--now that it's in my town, have to watch out.

There's a Doctor Who marathon on SciFi (or whatever it's called this week). Watching the first Ood episode right now.

Last Saturday my partner and I threw a wedding reception for the cutest little straight couple you've ever seen. They've been helping us restore our old house and we wanted to show off their work to all our common friends in the neighborhood. Well the wedding at a small country church was gorgeous-then we had a reception at our house worth remembering.....After that they rushed off to a Carnival cruise. ...We did right by our surrogate babies.

They're really sweet and talented kids. I wish them all the happiness I've known in life...
