10. They could be doing it for health reasons.
No brain = no internal support for her skull. Who knows how heavy that crown actually is?

3. Doubtful that she would care at this point. There were no more crowns in her future.

Now she's getting her payday and more.

She should be ignored.

5. Yup. Ignore this rw flash in the pan, we have bigger fish to fry.
I support President Obama on his pledge to end DADT.

I suspect all good Dems and DU'ers do too.

6. I doubt she's worried, I mean she has a solid career ahead of her.
FOX is ALWAYS in need of another fake blonde airhead with fake boobs.

Miss California in breach of contract, officials say
11:47 AM | May 11, 2009
Officials with the Miss California USA Pageant said today in Beverly Hills that title-holder Carrie Prejean is in breach of contract and "entered the contest under false pretenses." Donald Trump, who owns the Miss USA pageant, will decide tomorrow whether she will keep her crown.

Prejean didn't inform contest officials about her involvement with anti-gay marriage organizations and failed to show up for public appearances as required under her contract with the Miss USA organization, said Keith Lewis and Shannon Moakler, co-executive directors of Miss California USA.

Prejean's brief reign has been clouded by controversy over semi-nude photos and her comments on gay marriage. She made national headlines last month when during the Miss USA pageant she said that marriage should be between a man and woman.

11. She ought to lose her crown for advocating controversial political positions, rather than the photos
What annoys me the most about the coverage of how miss California might lose her crown is the lack of mention about her doing ads for anti-gay marriage groups. I mean seriously, do you think the people who organize these events would want one of their winners to go around advocating controversial political positions? Advocating a position on such an issue when you're asked about it in a miss US contest is one thing, filming the ads for TV (and probably getting paid for it to) is a whole other thing. Can you imagine the uproar the fundies would make if say the reigning Miss Alabama started to go record ads in favor of abortion rights for women in America, and then pro-abortion groups started to show those ads on TV?
