After a long effort to gain support, complete sex change operations are now authorized in Cuba, announced Mariela Castro, director of the National Sex Education Center (CENESEX).

Previously prohibited by law, there are approximately thirty transsexuals who have solicited the operations, reported IPS.

Mariela is the daughter of President Raul Castro and the late Vilma Espin, historic leader of the Federation of Cuban Women.

Cubans (being that they're on a small poor Caribbean island that is victim to US extra territorial sanctions) make sacrifices to have complete world class universal health care for everyone.

In the US its also covered by a lot of major companies and for most government employees.

What you want is a proper Christian Free Market sex change. Yep, if you didn't pay through the nose to have your whanger cut out, there's no telling what you'll end up pissing out of.

4. If we ever do have single-payer universal health care

and I really don't think that's going to be this year, then there will be massive fights over what it should always exclude paying for. In addition to the predictable fights over abortion and psychiatric care, expect that sex-reassignment surgery will be one of the things guaranteed to be left out.

Socialism trumps capitalism any day, which is why we have been conditioned since primary school to an anti-Socialist response.
