Does anyone here know who gave that amazing speech Tuesday night in California?

Just to loosely paraphrase, it was something like this:

"We are a loving people... We are a caring people... But the last flame of the candlelight vigil has been blown out..."

I apologize for not having more details other than that it was heard on KNX 1070, a news radio station out of Los Angeles, as best as I can remember. It was the middle of the night when I heard this, so I hope it is approximately accurate.

It was just such a pertinent, right on the mark speech, I wish I knew who delivered it.
