http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/07/070705rabbis.htmConservative rabbis who support LGBT issues for the first time have organized to form a network. Called Keshet Rabbis, the group is growing larger and faster than its original organizers had hoped.
It began with four American rabbis. Only a week ago the network announced it had grown to 75. Today there are almost 200. And, they come from not only the United States but Canada, Europe and Israel as well.
Melrose Massachusetts Rabbi Menachem Creditor, a spokesperson for the group, said that the goal of Keshet Rabbis is to break ranks with the official position of the Conservative Movement and come out in support of full inclusion of the GLBT community in Conservative congregations and in the Conservative Rabbinic Seminaries.
