Hawaii Governor Vetoes LGBT Civil Rights Bills
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/07/071305hawaii.htm

Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle has vetoed two LGBT civil rights bills passed by the legislature and allowed a third to go into effect without her signature.

The two bills vetoed by Lingle would have added protections based on gender identity and expression to the state's employment discrimination law. Despite passing the bill by large margins, the legislature took no action to override the veto before adjourning for the summer.

The Governor did allow a bill prohibiting discrimination in housing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity and expression to become law without her signature.

4. That Bitch
I don't think the bitch will be re-elected anyway. She is just pandering to the Hope Chapel/Calvary Chapel types that are springing up all over the Ewa Plain in Kapolei and the Leeward Coast of O'ahu.

Moderate Republican my ass - she is just looking out for herself and her own party, not the citizens of Hawaii.

6. I have to wonder if we could call
a black governor who did this a vile racial name or a male governor who did this a vile name related to the male gender. She is the epitome of bad governance but we do ourselves no favors to engage in sexist name calling.
